What do I know about the future? The truth is I’m not a fortune Teller, but one thing I do know is that change is inevitable. Technology is going to change in 2024.

If you take the training In my 29 years in business, I don’t think I’ve ever known a year with so much new use of technology as 2023. I feel very confident that my prediction that 2024 will be even more incredible.

I’ve been getting this some thought and produced a list of what I think are the three keys for businesses to focus on in 2024. They are as follows:

No.1 – Digital Transformation

The use of digital transformation can improve the:

  1. The operational side of your business.
  2. The marketing and sales side of your business.
  3. The financial side of your business.

Almost any and every element of your business. The questions are:

  1. Are you open to becoming better at all things digital?
  2. Are you aware of the opportunities that are currently available?
  3. What are you going to do about it?

The truth is that 95% of all the business owners that I speak to tell me that they either don’t like technology or they don’t have time to learn it.

I’m here to tell you that if you don’t embrace technology, then your business may not even be here next year, or the year after.

So, if you’re one of those people who say, I don’t like social media, I’m not into technology, or I don’t have the time to learn then just consider – what that’s going to mean for your business.

If you get left behind in this digital revolution that we live in today, then it is going to be almost impossible to catch up.

No.2 – Sustainability and social responsibility

This is so important in 2024 and has been so now for several years. This not only helps improve the world that we live in but also shows your business is doing everything that can to make the world a better place.

The things you could focus on could include:

  • The environment
  • Being more eco-friendly
  • Reducing waste reduction
  • Saving fuel.

No.3 – Cyber Security, Intelectual Property and Data Privacy

Data Security, Cyber Security and Intellectual Property are things that we all are aware of, and we’re all aware that we should one day get things sorted out so that we are compliant and secure.

However, in the real world, what tends to happen is we don’t do anything until and unless we have a problem.

So if someone steals your intellectual property, you would probably then go to an expert and pay them a lot of money to rectify this problem.

The best thing to do is to make sure that you’ve got everything in place to stop people from stealing your intellectual property and therefore reduce the risk and also the cost of dealing with an intellectual property issue.
